For Leo, however, English has become the language that connects him with his future dream.
Leo joined Sakura Academy in the summer of 2024 after successfully entering one of the top junior high schools in his hometown. At first, his goal was simple: improve his English grades and become more confident in class.
Like many students, Leo once felt nervous whenever English lessons began. Speaking English seemed difficult, and the language felt more like an obstacle than an opportunity.
Through interactive lessons, bilingual instruction, and regular conversations with his teachers, Leo gradually discovered that learning English could be enjoyable. Leo, however, has already begun thinking seriously about his future.
After many conversations with his family and teachers at Sakura Academy, he discovered a genuine passion for biology and medicine. Together, they discussed his strengths, interests, and long-term goals, helping him build a learning pathway that supports his dream.
Instead of studying English only for exams, Leo is now learning Biology in English, developing the scientific vocabulary, reading skills, and critical thinking that will prepare him for higher education and future medical studies.
